Now I can see that GitHub public repo named GitProj as shown below. It redirects to a page in browser as shown below and that means the files are published to GitHub. Click on Sign In with your browser option. Then I can see one pop-up for GitHub sign In as shown below. Now we can see in status bar of VS Code for Publish to GitHub. Then it will show list of files to commit that is index.html and style.css and click ok. Then I can see two options for publishing to private repo and publishing to public repo are shown below.Ĭreate Project and Push Public Repo to GithubĬlick on Publish to GitHub public repository as described earlier. Then I get a pop-up in VS Code for GitHub Authentication as shown below.Īfter successful sign-In, I can see my GitHub account is linked to VS Code as shown below. The below interface is different because I already have signed-In to my GitHub account. For this, you might get another interface for putting your GitHub credentials to validate your GitHub account. It redirects to below page to authorize visual studio code to access GitHub as shown below. Next step is to click on Source control and then Publish to GitHub as shown below. Here I have created two files called index.html and style.css as shown below. Once it is done then the interface in VS Code will be shown as below. Then, I will open the folder named GitProj which I created earlier.
